US Youth Soccer Age
Group Eligibility Chart: August 1, 1996 (oldest U14) ------ July 31, 2006 (youngest U5)
Player
Registration: $65 for both seasons; $45
for single season; $15 jersey (if you don't have one). Players will not be placed on teams if payment is not received.
The cost for a single 6 game season of play (fall 2010 or
spring 2011) is $45, payable by check and mailed with the printed application
form to Northland United Soccer Club, P.O. Box 114, Big Rapids, MI 49307.
Players may register for single season play (fall 2010 or spring 2011)
for $45 per season. Keep in mind, if you
register for fall only, and then later choose to play in the spring, you will
be charged and additional $45. All
players are required to wear a club jersey during games. U5 and U6 players have
a jersey included in their fee.
Late registrations will be accepted, along with a $15 late
fee. Players who are registered late
will not be guaranteed a position of a team, but will be placed as space
allows. If not placed, their payment,
including the late fee, will be refunded.
Rationale: once the open registration session ends, the data is
examined
to determine the necessary number of teams.
Because we never have enough coaches, the tedious process of recruiting
the necessary coaches begins. When the
coaches are in place, players are distributed onto teams based on gender
and
age. Game schedules are printed and
coach packets created for distribution at the coach meeting. Each team
has a roster maximum based on a
minimum 50% game time per player and the number of players on the field
during
a game.
Northland United Soccer Club has adopted the GotSoccer.com
registration system through partnership with the Michigan State Youth Soccer
Association. All families are required
to create a password protected account. Account
creation requires a valid e-mail address.
If you do not currently have e-mail, or computer access, free e-mail
accounts are available from google,
microsoft and yahoo.
Computers are available for use at the
public library.
You will be able to log into your account to see team and
schedule information. You can still pay
by check. Credit card services will not
be available for about 1 week.
