Thanks to our contractors for their professional services:
Dick's Dozing -
excavation and grading (cost to NUSC: $15,000).
Dick Myer spent a lot of time waiting for fill to arrive; he brought in
a lot of extra fill himself. He pulled
out a large amount of pretty big rocks before the irrigation system was
installed. Keep in mind, there is still
more dirt to bring in and move along the back
New Horizon Landscape -
Chuck and Andrew at NHL put in a 1st rate
irrigation system (cost to NUSC: $18,500). They had to wait for the water tap, and the
power for the timer before they could complete the job.
Special Thanks to Cliff Youngs of Youngs' Consulting
We thank Cliff for for his help with
grading the field, and putting down the hydroseed (cost to NUSC: $8500).
Cliff volunteered his time, brought in equipment and only billed for
materials.
Special Thanks to Steve Sobers and the City of Big Rapids
Thanks to Big Rapids for providing the
water tap for the irrigation system, and for bringing in the top soil (cost to
NUSC: $0).
Special Thanks to Burwell Maccall
Thanks to Burwell Maccall for installing the electrical box for the
irrigation system timer.
Special Thanks to Trevor Park of Park's Sawmill
Thanks to Trovor Park for tree removal
Special Thanks to Curt Ray of CRay Heating and Cooling
We thank Curt for spearheading this
project. Curt's the guy who kept this
thing going. He's the guy who put on a
hard hat and walked into job sites to get the fill we needed. He saved us thousands of dollars. Thank him when you see him out chalking
fields or coaching the U11 girls team.
Thank his wife Christine for putting up with it.
Special Thanks to all the people who came out to pick up rocks.
